This garden is dedicated to preserving the legacy of the men and women of the Greatest Generation who, through their personal courage, sacrifice, and “can-do” attitude, persevered and worked in solidarity to achieve victory. We would like celebrate all the women that came together as Rosies when America needed them most. The Spirit of '45 Day recognizes the achievements and positive values the men and women who were the “ordinary heroes” of the generation that endured, fought and won World War II.
