AFA Call to Action

Gerrity Chapter Members,

We are contacting you to ask for your help to ensure that the 2024 Defense Appropriations Bill is passed by Congress before the current Continuing Resolution (CR)—the fourth of FY 24—expires on March 22nd.  The House of Representatives is the big focus, as this is where getting enough votes for passage has been a challenge.  Would you email your House members and ask for their support?  

Advocacy is one of the Air & Space Force Association's three mission pillars, which are Advocate, Educate and Support.   Failure to provide adequate funding for our Airmen and Guardians cannot be an option!  Simply put, with potential conflicts arising in multiple locations around the globe, we must enable our military to do the job we have asked them to do. 

We have attached an email template that you can use, and a one-page document that details the damage caused by Continuing Resolutions as a temporary funding mechanism.  To make it as easy as possible, you can cut and paste the information in the email template, and add your information (name, etc.).  Please send to the following (depending on which district you live in):
