What is BSides? Oklahoma's Premiere Information Security Conference

Each BSides is a community-driven framework for building events for and by information security community members. The goal is to expand the spectrum of conversation beyond the traditional confines of space and time. It creates opportunities for individuals to both present and participate in an intimate atmosphere that encourages collaboration. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from participants. It is where conversations for the next-big-thing are happening.

The Chapter will set up a booth with our STEM informational stuff and I along with Career Tech personal will be on a panel to discuss our CyberPatriot program and how it's creating the next generation Cyber Warriors for industry. We ask these industry leaders/professionals to get involved as Mentors and or Coaches to help these teams better prepare for the competition and provide middle schoolers and high schoolers insight into possible careers.

We are invited to this international conference due to the importance of Cybersecurity.
