Successful 2022 Tinker AFB 552 ACW Chili Cook-Off Raises Spirits!
The Air & Space Forces Association - Gerrity Chapter in community partnership with Oklahoma ACES and a spirit of friendship with the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission hosted the 2022 Tinker Air Force Base 552nd Air Control Wing Chili Cook-Off. Over 600 Airmen were served and we express our sincerest gratitude to the Oklahoma City Thunder and Rumble, as well as KOCO Channel 5 News Station and their Chief Pilot Chase Rutledge for making this day so special for America's military personnel. We invite you to visit our website, whether you are active-duty, reserve, or a civilian, to join us in our mission to serve our Airmen, and beyond.
Do you ever look at Tinker AFB and its 30,000+ employees and ask yourself what you could do as a veteran or civilian to support the mission of the United States Armed Services? Enjoy these photos from one of the many activities the Air and Space Forces Association Gerrity Chapter hosts throughout the year. This year, a chili cook-off was Chaired by Janelle Stafford for the Airmen of the 552nd Air Control Wing. Celebrity judges included the OKC Thunder's "Rumble" and KOCO’s Chief pilot Chase Rutledge as well as 552 Commander Col. Keven Coyle. The Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission was also represented as over 600 Airmen enjoyed chili presented by different squadrons. Gerrity could not continue their mission without the support of our community partners and we extend special thanks to the Oklahoma ACES program for their sponsorship. Join us and get involved! #joinAFA215
