STEM EDUCATION: Boeing opens applications for its 2021 Oklahoma STEM Signing Day

Please spread the word! Boeing opened applications for its 2021 Oklahoma STEM Signing Day. STEM Signing Day is an annual event celebrating high school seniors choosing to pursue STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) degrees at technical programs and two and four-year colleges and universities. Just like signing days for athletes, STEM Signing Day is full of excitement and fanfare, and honorees sign a letter of intent to pursue their STEM goals.

Created in South Carolina in 2017, STEM Signing Day has recognized thousands of students over the last four years. This year, we are excited to bring this event to Oklahoma for the first time ever, honoring the incredible accomplishments and educational goals of students across our state.

All Oklahoma high school seniors who plan to attend a two-year or four-year college or university and pursue a STEM degree or program are eligible to apply on Tallo. If you know a student following this career path, join us in encouraging them to apply for this program. Winners will be selected based on their strength, completeness and merit of their Tallo profile and STEM Signing Day application. Students selected as STEM Signing Day honorees will be recognized at a virtual STEM Signing Day in April and have the opportunity to sign up for a mentorship program with Boeing.

We look forward to seeing this year’s field of future Scientists, Technicians, Engineers and Mathematicians.

2021 STEM Signing Day will take place Spring 2021!

Eligible applicants can visit the 2021 Oklahoma STEM Signing Day website to create their Tallo profile and submit their STEM Signing Day application.
